What Happens Next?
If you’ve decided on orthodontics, Congratulations! You are now on your way to a beautiful and healthy smile! After your initial consultation, we will schedule your first appointment and both Dr. Kivity-Chandler and her team work together to place your new orthodontic appliance (braces, Invisalign, special bite correction appliances or expanders). Generally, the appointment for placing braces takes around 60-90 minutes. Throughout the process, our team will make sure that you are relaxed and comfortable.
Visiting the Dentist and your Hygienist During Orthodontic Treatment
It is very important to continue visits your general dentist and your hygienist every 4-6 months during your orthodontic treatment, for dental cleanings and routine checkups. If additional dental care is needed, we will gladly work with your dentist to ensure that you are getting the dental care in a timely manner and that you are maintaining optimal dental and oral health.
