First New Patient Visit

You are never too old for braces! Who says that you’re not allowed to have nicely aligned teeth and a perfect smile? Definitely not us. At IKC Orthodontics, we believe that braces or clear aligners can be suitable for any individual who walks through our doors and we have different options to choose from! We have many adult patients at our practice, so you won’t feel out of place! We also have quite a few parent/child teams that are experiencing orthodontic treatment together!

Our practice also recognizes that adults and children have different needs and require different levels of attention and care. Although it is beneficial in most cases to see patients at a young age, that does not mean that orthodontic treatment cannot be successfully completed on adult patients. We will work with you to ensure you receive the most appropriate treatments, and that your needs are met with understanding and respect from us in collaboration with you dental professional and other dental specialists as needed.

Common reasons why adults may choose to have orthodontic treatment:

• A bad bite or malocclusion, causing teeth to fit together incorrectly
• Teeth are crowded or spaced apart, possibly causing tooth decay or gum disease
• Abnormal jaw pain or pressure, caused by crooked teeth or improper jaw joint positions
• Desire for a healthier mouth and a more confident smile
